P3 ENERGY SUPPORT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY

Concourse is the lead Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) negotiation advisor to the Department of Navy (DoN)’s Resilient Energy Program Office (REPO) supporting over 30 active energy projects totaling over $1.3 billion of leveraged third-party investment in distributed energy resources (DER) and over $140 million in direct exclusive upgrades to DoN utility infrastructure. Concourse has assisted the DoN to achieve active N+1 resilience for entire installations during transmission or distribution grid outage displacing the need to use appropriated funding to acquire passive back up generation at a premium to the existing utility rate. The typical REPO EUL project is designed to achieve power quality improvement and provide black start capable islanded operation of DER generation, storage and distribution assets to serve installations and adjacent communities.
